Energy Savings
Equipped with high efficiency IE3 electric motors (IE4 option also available).
The low rotation speed of the air end and the 1:1 direct coupling between the electric motor and the compressor ensure energy savings of more than 15% compared to other rotary compressors.
Simple, Economical Maintenance
The RVD series requires minimum maintenance, the few operations required are facilitated by proper kits specifically designed to speed up the operations. Maintenance costs are low because the vanes, rotor and stator have an almost unlimited life if proper maintenance is performed. Over 100,000 hours of operation are guaranteed without the need to replace the compression unit.
Enhanced Cooling
Oversized coolers are rated for 115°F ambient conditions. A permanent magnet motor driven variable speed electric fan regulates the cooling air flow depending on the machine oil temperature.
Suction and Non-return Valve
When air demand is satisfied, the suction and non-return valve release internal pressure and allows the compressor to run with no load. This minimizes energy consumption, without the need to stop the compressor. The number of stops and subsequent start-ups is therefore reduced to the benefit of the service life of compressor and electric motor.
Quality Compressed Air
The special multi-stage air-oil separation allows achieving a top air quality with very low oil residue. The integrated oil separation system ensures a content of residual oil lower than 3 ppm w/w.
WYE-DELTA STARTING
This solution starts the motor progressively, thus reducing the power used during this particular phase.
Electronic Control
RVD 7-11 air compressors are equipped with a Maestro XB electronic controller, whose graphic display allows constantly monitoring oil temperature, line pressure, and the enable, operation, and load hours.
INSTALLATIONS
- E version with dryer particularly suitable for applications where dry, moisture-free air is of crucial importance for production.
- S version on 80- or 120-gallon air receiver tank; ; for applications where built-in air storage is desired;
- SE version on 80- or 120-gallon air receiver tank with refrigerated air dryer:for applications where dry, moisture-free air is of crucial importance for production;
- Version with IE4 energy-efficiency motor.
